1. Neonatal Single-part Cards

The Neonatal STD Card contains a demographic section where information about the newborn, parents, physician, and Lab details can be entered. The card has a unique sequential  number on the card and filter area. The collection paper contains Five half-inch  (13mm) circles with a wraparound cover to protect the DBS filter paper before and after blood collection. Each circle holds 75-80 µl of blood.

2. Neonatal Two-part Cards

The two-part card consists of the DBS sample area glued to a
demographic card available in either black or OCR (optical character recognition) red.
The two-part card can also include additional features such as a barcode and can be printed in multiple colors.

3. Neonatal Multipart Cards

The multiple-part neonatal card includes a demographic portion in duplicate where information about the newborn, parents, physician, and care can be entered. Each card has a unique sequential number and bar code option. The multi-part DBS collection paper is imprinted with five half-inch (13 mm) circles and has a wraparound cover to protect the DBS paper before and after sample collection. Each circle holds 75-80 µl of blood.

The multipart dried blood spot card consists of three parts or more and can be printed in black or OCR. Similar to the two-part card, the DBS sample area is attached to the demographic card and can have one or two top carbon layers for transferring information.

Additional features of the multipart card include a wrap-around cover, which protects the blood collection paper, one barcode, unique identification numbering, and it is available in a variety of ink colors.
